Hoover Tower

The Hoover Tower is a 285-foot observation tower built in 1941 in celebration of Stanford University's 50th anniversary. The tower design was inspired by a Spanish cathedral and currently houses a carillon of 48 bells cast in Tournai, Belgium. Situated on the 14th level, the observation platform gives stellar views of historic university landmarks, impressive mountains, and even views of Silicon Valley's famous sites. Stanford students, faculty, staff, and family enjoy free admission (with current Stanford ID).
